The preliminary date for the hearing in front of
the DFG reviewer panel has been set to the 26th of March. During
this event, Mark will present the research progress made during
the first phase and defend the plans for the second phase of the
4DMB SPP. To prepare for this, we will need your help. Please go
to the website
under research/projects and check whether your reports are
up to date. If not, send us an updated version so we have your
latest results and research highlights in a concise format. You
can also send us additional information that is relevant to your
research progress but should not go publicly in the reports on
the website.
There will be a special AlpArray Session at the EGU 2020 conference, as well as a couple of AlpArray research group meetings. We hope to see many of you there! You can find all the relevant information by following this link to our website.
AlpArray/SPP 2020 Meeting
The next annual meeting will be held in Prague from the 10th to
the 13th of November. The 10th will be reserved for an early
career scientists meeting.
Equal opportunity funds
As part of our SPP, we have access to
special funds to support parents and female researchers with the
aim to promote gender equality. These funds can be used to by
female researchers to visit conferences that can otherwise not
be paid for from the project budget or to take part in
networking or mentoring activities. Parents can use these funds
to pay for child care during conferences, field trips or
vacations but also to create a home office or to employ a HiWi.
